Initially we were going to have a small wedding with just immediate family. However, when we stumbled across The Billabong back in January we decided that it was such an amazing place we wanted all our friends and family to enjoy it with us – hence a wedding of 140 guests! The property is so beautiful, natural and unique. We had around 40 of our guests camp onsite, and the following day we had a massive recovery BBQ breakfast at The Billabong Saloon which was a great way to catch up again before everyone headed home.
A HOLIDAY FOR ALL:
This is our favourite place in the world. Even in mid-winter we have the most glorious tropical days, and the surrounding environment is just magical – a mixture of lush rainforest & eucalypt woodlands. TNQ is also a really attractive place for our friends and family to visit, so as a result we had a fantastic response from out-of-town guests. We had guests from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, New Zealand, the UK and USA all join us for our wedding.
