| St David's Church - MossmanSituated quaintly under the Raintrees stands St David's Church. Built from rocks taken from the banks of the Mossman River, the walls are reminiscent of early colonial buildings with the steep grey rocks bound together with cement. St David's Church has a proud history and stepping into the old stone church Is like turning back the pages of time. If there was ever a monument to the strength, fortitude and determination of Mossman's early residents St David's Church is it. In 1912 construction began with work on the church progressing slowly throughout the years with a number of delays halting construction. World War 2 again halted work and it was not until 1952 that the building was finally finished and dedicated.
