Manta Ray Bed and Breakfast is a Bali themed bed and breakfast getaway offering deluxe, private seaside accommodation at secluded Newell Beach. The accommodation is set within a tropical garden compound featuring Bali style furnishing and statuary. At the rear of the property are cane fields stretching to rainforest covered mountains. Beautiful, pristine, white sanded and palm fringed Newell Beach– over 3.5km long and flanked by two rivers, is just a two minute stroll from the back gate and can be viewed from the main house.
Guest rooms are also Bali themed and are contained in a separate wing. The two large bedrooms have QS beds with mosquito netting and oil burners to create a truly romantic atmosphere and feature cool marble floors, fans, air-conditioning and bar fridge. A central, large, salt water lap pool divides the guest accommodation from the main house. The Bali Bale and day bed over the pool is the perfect place for relaxing day or evening and catching the sea and mountain breezes. Newell Beach is located approximately 20kms north of Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland and only 75kms from Cairns International Airport. A variety of transport is available to and from the airport, although most guests prefer to rent a car to take advantage of sightseeing all the region has to offer.
